- AvePoint Cloud Governance now supports the new Microsoft Edge Chromium based browser.
- In AvePoint Cloud Governance, the IT administrator can now use the **Update Workspace Information in Bulk** feature to update metadata and contacts of multiple site collections in bulk.
- In the **Site** **Collection Report**, there is now a **Reassign Renewal** button. For site collections whose renewal tasks are pending, overdue, or completed with exception, the IT administrator can now choose to reassign the renewal tasks to another user to complete the tasks.
In the **Team and Group Report**, there is now a **Reassign Renewal** button. For groups or teams whose renewal tasks are pending, overdue, or completed with exceptions, the IT administrator can now choose to reassign the renewal tasks to another user to complete the tasks.
- AvePoint Cloud Governance will execute different methods for workspaces that have ongoing renewal processes. The following lifecycle management tasks will be executed regardless of the renewal tasks:
- Change site collection/group team site quota
- Extend site collection/group/team lease
- Continue site collection/group/team access
- The following lifecycle management tasks will be executed and the ongoing renewal tasks will be canceled:
- Delete site collection/group/team
- Archive site collection/team
- Lock site collection
- Note that the change policy requests are not allowed to be submitted when the corresponding site collections, groups or teams have ongoing renewal processes.
- The duration set in a renewal profile will not account for the administrator contact's actions. A renewal task will be overdue when the task assignee of the last renewal stage doesn't complete the task within the duration, and the task will be assigned to the administrator contact. If automated locking is enabled in a site collection renewal profile and the task assignee of the last renewal stage doesn't complete the task within the duration, the renewal task will not be assigned to the administrator contact and the site collection will be locked.
- In the **Team and Group Report**, when the IT administrator chooses to apply a policy on selected groups or teams, there will be a pop-up window displaying the groups or teams that have ongoing lifecycle management request, renewal, or recertification tasks. Before continuing to apply a policy, the IT administrator can choose to cancel all the ongoing lifecycle management requests and reject all renewal or recertification tasks, or they can choose to skip these groups or teams.
- When the group team site URL of an AvePoint Cloud Governance managed Office 365 Group or Microsoft Team is modified in SharePoint admin center, the URL change will be synchronized to AvePoint Cloud Governance.
- When configuring an approval process, the IT administrator can now select the **$Group/Team Owners** role in the **CC** field, and users who take this role will be notified when the group or team related service request is completed.
- When configuring a group or team renewal profile, there is now a **Membership management** option for the IT administrator to decide whether to allow the renewal task assignee to add owners and members for the group or team.
- In the election task that is generated when a site collection contact is deactivated, the site collection URL is now displayed so that the task assignee can know the target site collection precisely.
- If an error occurs in the workspace renewal process, a notification e-mail will be sent to the administrator contact, but as it is the current renewal task assignee who can renew the site collection, Office 365 Group, or Microsoft Team, now the current renewal task assignee will also receive a copy of the e-mail.
- If an error occurs in the workspace renewal process, a notification e-mail will be sent to the administrator contact, but previously only the current renewal task assignee was able to renew the site collection, Office 365 Group, or Microsoft Team, now the administrator contact can also renew the workspace.
- In the **Site Collection Report**, the IT administrator can now click **Trigger Renewal** to start the renewal processes for active site collections that have been applied with renewal profiles. In the **Team and Group** Report, the IT administrator can now click **Trigger Renewal** to start the renewal processes for active groups or teams that have been applied with renewal profiles.
