AvePoint Cloud Governance March 2020

    Release Date: March 15, 2020

    - If an error occurs in the workspace renewal process, a notification e-mail will be sent to the administrator contact, but only the current renewal task assignee was able to renew the site collection, Office 365 Group, or Microsoft Team, now the administrator contact can also renew the workspace. - In **Impersonation Account Management**, there is now a **Group/Team Provisioning Method** section for the IT administrator to choose whether or not to use Microsoft Graph APIs to create Office 365 Groups or Microsoft Teams. - The IT administrator can now set an auto approval process for Change Permissions service requests. After a requester finishes the permission changes in the review permission task, the request will be automatically approved. - When the URL of an AvePoint Cloud Governance managed site collection is modified in SharePoint admin center, the URL change will be synchronized to AvePoint Cloud Governance. Changing a site collection URL causes site URL changes. If the sites in the site collection are also managed by AvePoint Cloud Governance, the updated site URLs will also be synchronized to AvePoint Cloud Governance. - When viewing the **Phase** details of a workspace with a pending renewal process in **Site Collection Report**, **Team and Group Report**, **My Sites**, **My Teams and Groups**, or **Workspaces** (in the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal), users can now see the **Due Date** field. It indicates the due date for the task assignee to complete the renewal task. - When actional messages are enabled in **Settings** > **E-mail Settings**, actional messages in AvePoint Cloud Governance notification e-mails now support the following mobile clients: Outlook for iOS and Outlook for Android. - In the notification e-mails sent by AvePoint Cloud Governance, the following references added to the message body will be displayed as hyperlinks: Task Link, Office 365 Group Planner Link, Microsoft Team Link, Office 365 Group Notebook Link, and To-Do List Link. - In a Create Group/Team service > **Team** **Member Permissions**, the IT administrator can now choose to **Allow members to create private channels**. - In the **Office 365 Workspace Activity** **Report**, there is now a **Details** column, which displays details of the renewal, apply policy, and change policy activities on site collections, Office 365 Groups, and Microsoft Teams. - In the **Site Collection Report**, when the IT administrator applies a policy to site collections that have ongoing lifecycle management requests or ongoing recertification tasks, there will be a pop-window displaying these site collection URLs. Before continuing to apply a policy, the IT administrator can choose to cancel all the ongoing requests and reject all the recertification tasks or skip these site collections. - When the IT administrator applies a policy to site collections in the **Site Collection Report**, if the **Site Collection Lease Period Management** is enabled in the newly selected policy, there is now a **Site Collection** **Lease Start Date** section in the pop-up window. The IT administrator can choose to keep the original site collection lease start date, or select a new lease start date. - When the IT administrator applies a policy to groups or teams in the **Team and Group Report**, if the **Group/Team Lease Period Management** is enabled in the newly selected policy, there is now a **Group/Team Lease Start Date** section in the pop-up window. The IT administrator can choose to keep the original group/team lease start date, or select a new lease start date. - In a Site Collection Lifecycle Management service > **Lifecycle Management Actions**, when selecting the **Change Site Collection Policy** option to allow business users to request a site collection policy change, the IT administrator can now choose to keep the original site collection lease start date or select a new lease start date.

In a Group/Team Lifecycle Management service > Lifecycle Management Actions, when selecting the Change Group/Team Policy option to allow business users to request a group or team policy change, the IT administrator can now choose to keep the original group or team lease start date, or select a new lease start date.

    - The private channel site collections cannot be imported to be managed by AvePoint Cloud Governance. A private channel site collection will not be displayed in the request scope in the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal. If a private channel site collection URL is manually entered in a request form in the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal, it cannot pass the validation. - When a business user views the members of a SharePoint group in a permission recertification task, a site collection renewal task, a group/team renewal task, or a Change Permissions task in the AvePoint Cloud Governance Portal, the business user can now filter the group members by **Account type**.

    Resolved Known Issues

    - When a business user starts a **Clone or Transfer User Permissions** service request, they can now enter a public group name and/or private group name in the **Source User** field and/or the **Target User** to clone or transfer the group permissions.
