AvePoint Cloud Governance July 2018

    Release Date: July 22, 2018

    - If your Office 365 tenant has multiple domains and your tenant has restrictions on who can create Office 365 groups, you can add service accounts for each domain into the **Service Account Pool** in AvePoint Online Services. This ensures Office 365 groups can be successfully created via AvePoint Cloud Governance service requests. AvePoint Cloud Governance will retrieve the appropriate service accounts for the requested groups. If no service account is able to create groups, AvePoint Cloud Governance will create groups using the Global Administrator account that is used to create the Office 365 app profile in AvePoint Online Services. - In **Settings > E-mail Settings**, the IT Admin can now enable **Actionable Messages** on notification e-mails for approval tasks and error tasks. Approval tasks provide the **Approve** and **Reject** actions. Error tasks provide the **Retry** and **Skip** actions. With actionable messages enabled, e-mail recipients can perform the actions right from the e-mails. - SharePoint Online no longer supports creating new eDiscovery cases, so AvePoint Cloud Governance does not support creating site collections and sites with the template of **eDiscovery Center**. You can create eDiscovery cases in **Office 365 Security & Compliance Center.** - The display of User Profile Property metadata values in Create Site Collection service requests has been improved. If the IT Admin selects the **$Requester** role as the metadata value, the metadata value will be replaced with the requester's username. If the IT Admin selects the **$Primary Site Collection Contact** or **$Secondary Site Collection Contact** role as the metadata value and the IT Admin selects the contact in the Create Site Collection service, the metadata value will be replaced with the contact’s username. If the IT Admin does not select the contact in the service, the role name will be displayed as the metadata value. - The Cloud Governance Panel can now be added to sites. The Create Site service provides the automatic deployment for the panel. The **Cloud Governance Panel Management** settings allow the IT Admin to choose what information will be displayed on the Cloud Governance Panel for sites. - The following reports now have the **Automatic Import Profile** column displayed: **My Sites, My Groups, Site Collection Report,** and **Group Report.**
