#What's New in the Modern Cloud Governance Admin Center?

• The following dynamic service updates are available in Management > Dynamic services:

  • The Create Private channel service allows business users to create private channels for teams through service requests.

  • The Change private channel setting service enables business users to modify private channel names, descriptions, owners, members, and site storage via service requests.

  • When configuring the Change Microsoft 365 Group settings service, IT administrators can now allow business users to change the group classification, description, name, privacy, sensitivity label, member subscription setting, Outlook experience setting, and outside sender setting via service requests.

  • When configuring the Change ownership or membership service, IT administrators can now predefine the owners and members to be added to groups and teams whose ownership or membership is changed via this service request using the Predefined owners and members setting.

  • The following updates have been made to the Create site collection service:

    • In the Site collection permissions setting, IT administrators can now define who can view and edit group membership when creating or editing SharePoint groups.

    • In the Site type setting, if available site types for this service are added by retrieving custom site types from an external data source, IT administrators can now configure whether to delete the solution file after site collection creation.

    • The Specify alternate CSS URL built-in action is now supported, allowing IT administrators to specify a CSS file URL to be used by the created site collection and all sites that inherit from it.

  • The following updates have been made to the bulk invitation mode of the Invite guest user service:

    • IT administrators can now configure separate approval tasks for newly invited guest users for both primary and secondary contacts.

    • The following settings are now supported in this mode: Company name, Department, and Job title, enabling business users to specify the information of guest users in this service request.

  • When adding metadata to certain provisioning services within a dynamic service main flow, IT administrators can now choose to inherit the value of previously added metadata labeled with Previous metadata and add it to workspace. This prevents business users from having to configure the same metadata repeatedly in a service request.

  • The Create private channel settings and Create private channel services are now available if your organization is using the Microsoft 365 Government GCC High environment.

  • When configuring the scope for the Change contact service, IT administrators can now choose to limit the groups or teams whose contact can be changed.

  • When configuring the scope for the Change metadata service, IT administrators can now choose to limit the groups or teams whose metadata can be changed.

• The following profile updates are available in Management > Profiles & templates:

  • When configuring the automatic import profiles for Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams, or site collections in Automatic import profiles, the following user roles are now available in stage profiles to define the stage assignees: $Object members, $Users with the Full Control permission, $Users with the Edit permission, and $Users with the Contribute permission.

  • When configuring group filter conditions of people picker filter profiles in People picker filter profiles, the Name does not start with condition is now supported for the Specific groups condition type, allowing groups starting with a specific prefix to be filtered out for fields applied with the profile.

• IT administrators can now configure notifications to inform the administrator contact if any service request encounters an error in System settings > Administrator notification.

• Workspace IDs are now included in exported workspace reports.

• Workspace phases are now be refined for a better user experience.

• When active requests are canceled, any items created before the cancellation will now be deleted.

#What's New in the End User Portal?

The Status and Site Status filters are now supported in the Spaces report in the new MyHub experience.
