What’s new in the new Cloud Governance admin center?

- IT administrators can now configure a guest user contact election profile in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Guest user contact election**. With an election profile applied to a guest user, when the primary or secondary guest user contact is deactivated, an automated contact nomination process will start to determine the new guest user contact. - In the **Guest user report**, IT administrators can now select one or more guest users and apply a contact election profile to them by clicking **Contacts** > **Apply contact election profile** on the ribbon. With an election profile applied, when the primary or secondary contact is deactivated, an automated contact nomination process will start to determine the new guest user contact. - In **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Automated escalation profiles for guest users**, IT administrators can now configure an automated escalation profile for guest users to define how to manage a guest user when the guest user contact election task is not completed within the specified time. - When configuring a guest user automatic import profile in the new Cloud Governance admin center, IT administrators can now select a guest user contact election profile or click the Create button to create a new profile. With an election profile applied to the imported guest users, when the primary or secondary guest user contact is deactivated, an automated contact nomination process will start to determine the new guest user contact. When configuring guest user information in an exported guest user template file, IT administrators can now specify a contact election profile that will be applied to guest users. With an election profile applied, when the primary or secondary guest user contact is deactivated, an automated contact nomination process will start to determine the new guest user contact. - When configuring the renewal schedule in **Renewal recurrence** in a workspace renewal profile, IT administrators can now choose to **Generate the next renewal task based on the last renewal completion date** and configure the renewal recurrence. - The report export location is where to store exported AvePoint Cloud Governance reports. IT administrators can now configure a report export location in **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Report export locations**. - AvePoint Cloud Governance retains up to two years of report data displayed in the workspace management timeline. For historical workspace report data older than two years, IT administrators can configure the **Report data retention management** in **Settings** > **System settings** and select a storage location to automatically archive the report data. - IT administrators can now configure a Change private channel settings service request template for their business users in **Management** > **Services**. Business users can request to change the name, description, or membership of a private channel. - In **Management** > **Profiles & templates** > **Email templates**, when configuring an email template in the **New** **task** type, IT administrators can now insert the **Source URL** reference in the email subject or message body, and the reference will take effect in notification emails for tasks generated based on a content move service request. - When configuring the user filters in a people picker filter profile, if IT administrators add an **Azure Active Directory property** type condition and choose to limit by the workspace metadata value, the profile with this condition configured can now be applied to the people picker fields in Change Group/Team Settings services and Site Collection/Group/Team renewal profiles as well. - In the people picker profile, when IT administrators configure the user filter and add a condition in the **Users or groups** type, they can now define the condition to allow specified users in the people picker by choosing **Belong to** as the **Condition**, or, excluded specified users from the people picker scope by choosing **Do not belong to** as the **Condition**; When they configure the user filter and add a condition in the **Azure Active Directory property** type, they can now define the condition to allow specific users whose property values conform to the specified property value by choosing **Matches** as the **Condition**, or, exclude the user whose property value conforms to the specified property value from the people picker scope by choosing **Does not match** as the **Condition**. - When viewing the workspace lifecycle timeline in the **Workspace report**, for a completed workspace renewal, IT administrators can now export the renewal details containing workspace information and renewal actions performed by the renewal task assignee. They can choose to export to a local path or to a storage location. - There is now a new **Membership assignment method** column in the **Workspace report** displaying whether group/team/community members are dynamically added or manually assigned. - When viewing group/team/community details in the **Workspace report**, IT administrators can now view the **Membership assignment method**. If the group/team/community members are dynamically assigned, they can click **View dynamic membership rule** to view the membership details. - IT administrators can now view the export workspace report jobs and export guest user report jobs in the **Job monitor**. - In the new Cloud Governance admin center > **Hub settings** > **App profile management**, the **SharePoint admin center URL** will be updated automatically if the SharePoint domain name is changed. After the admin center URL is updated, it may take several hours to synchronize the site URL of each site, depending on the number of sites that you have. In the Cloud Governance Portal, if a site is unavailable to visit during the synchronization process, a message will pop-up and prompt the business users to wait for a moment.

What’s new in the classic Cloud Governance admin center?

- In a Create Group/Team/Community service, IT administrators can now enable the time zone and locale for the group team site or Yammer community site or allow their business users to select the time zone or locale for the site in a request form. In a Change Group/Team/Community settings service, IT administrators can now configure the **Regional Settings** and choose whether to allow business users to specify the time zone and locale of group team sites or Yammer community sites. - Currently, all workspaces manually imported to Cloud Governance will be registered into AvePoint Online Services containers based on AvePoint Online Services scan rules. The service account used by the scan profile in AvePoint Online Services will be added as the site administrator. - Currently, all workspaces newly created via Cloud Governance services request will be registered into AvePoint Online Services containers based on AvePoint Online Services scan rules. The service account used by the scan profile in AvePoint Online Services will be added as the site administrator. - When configuring a Create Site Collection service, IT administrators can now enable the hub site for a site collection in the custom site collection template or classic site collection template.

What’s new in the Cloud Governance Portal?

- When business users configure a service request to create a group/team or change group/team settings, and define a dynamic rule to add group/team members dynamically, if **Organization** is selected as the dynamic group/team membership rule category, they can now select **User Assignment** as the **Rule**. - When business users view the request details or task details, they can now view the **Questionnaire responses** in the details page.
