- The following features are now available in the new Cloud Governance admin center:
- When configuring a guest user renewal profile, the IT administrator can now determine whether the renewal task assignee can reassign the renewal task to another user or skip the renewal task without specifying a user who can complete the renewal process by choosing from **Allow renewal task assignees to reassign the renewal task to other users** and/or **Allow renewal task assignees to state they are not responsible and are unsure who is responsible to complete the renewal process**.
- In the **Workspace report**, when the IT administrator selects one or more workspaces and chooses to **Auto-complete renewal** to manually complete the workspace renewal process, they can now select the phase **In** **compliance** or **Renewal canceled** to indicate the proper phase status of the workspace. When the renewal process is completed, the workspace phase will be changed. The auto-complete renewal job results will be recorded in the **Job monitor** in the new Cloud Governance admin center.
- When the IT administrator configures the exported JSON file for a site collection/group/team renewal profile, they can now set the property value for the **DurationEscalationSettings** - **EnableSkipProcess** property to true to allow renewal task assignees to state they are not responsible and are unsure who is responsible to complete the renewal process.
- The IT administrator can now manage the Microsoft Team templates in **Settings** > **System settings** > **Team** **templates**. The team templates can be built-in templates provided by Microsoft or your custom templates created in the Microsoft Teams admin center, and they will be available to be selected in a Create Team service.
- The **E-mail Settings** originally in the classic Cloud Governance admin center now have been moved to the new Cloud Governance admin center, and the IT administrator can now configure notification e-mail settings in the new Cloud Governance admin center > **Settings** > **System settings** > **E-mail settings**. Apart from the original existing e-mail settings, the IT administrator can now **Add a Microsoft 365 account** as the **E-mail sender**, and then the notification e-mails will be sent from the Microsoft 365 account. Besides, the color of the banner that is displayed in the notification e-mails can also be customized now.
- In the **Workspace report**, the IT administrator can now view the detailed workspace information under the **Workspace details** tab in the **View details** panel by clicking the workspace name, for example, workspace name, user information, or lifecycle information, etc.
- When the IT administrator clicks the name of a workspace in the **Workspace report** or clicks the name of a guest user in the **Guest user report**, the **View details** panel will be opened providing the workspace/guest user information and a unique identifier will be added to the URL in the browser's address bar. Users can view the workspace details or guest user information via the link.
- In the **MyHub** **settings** > **Shared hub** **management**, IT administrators can now create a workspace hub based on different criteria and share the hub with all users or a set of specific users. End users no longer need to create their own hubs by using the same filter criteria.
- In the Cloud Governance Portal, when business users submit a request via a Site Collection Lifecycle Management service, Change Site Collection Contact and Administrator service, or Change Site Collection Settings service and specify a URL to retrieve the site collection, the URL will be auto-truncated to the site collection URL for validation.
- In the Cloud Governance Portal, a **(Guest)** tag will be shown after the guest user's display name in the request forms, request details pages, and approval task details pages of the following requests:
- Manage Permissions service request
- Create Group/Team service request
- Change Group/Team Settings service request
- When configuring the **Team Template** in a Create Team service and the **Allow business** **users to create a team from an existing team** option is selected, there will be a **Copy from Existing Team** field now. The IT administrator can decide what will be copied from the teams selected in request forms or allow business users to choose what will be copied from the teams selected in request forms.
- In a Create Group/Team service, the IT administrator can now manage the **Outlook** **Experience** and **Exchange Global Address List** separately by selecting **Hide the group/team from the Outlook client** and/or **Hide** **the group/team from the Exchange global address list**.
In a Create Community service, the IT administrator can now manage the **Outlook Experience** and **Exchange Global Address List** separately by selecting **Hide the community from the Outlook client** and/or **Hide** **the community from the Exchange global address list**.
- When configuring the **Team Template** in a Create Team service, the IT administrator can now choose to **Allow business users to create a team using a team template** and add one or more team templates. The team templates can be built-in templates provided by Microsoft or custom templates created in the Microsoft Teams admin center. The team templates added to the service will be available in the request form and business users can select a team template to create a team.
- The site collection management activities performed in AvePoint Cloud Governance are no longer used to calculate the site collection inactivity. The **Continue access** action in a site collection inactivity threshold task is still regarded as an activity on the site collection.
- In a Create Team service, the **Allow business users to create a team from an existing** **team** and/or **Allow business users to create a team using a team template** option is selected in **Team Template**. In a request started in Microsoft Power Automate via this Create Team service, an existing team can be added or a team template can be selected from the template scope added in the service to create the team.
- When configuring the **Duration and Escalation** in a workspace renewal profile, the IT administrator can now determine whether the renewal task assignee can reassign the renewal task to another user or skip the renewal task without specifying a user who can complete the renewal process by choosing from **Allow renewal task assignees to reassign the renewal task to other users** and/or **Allow renewal task assignees to state they are not responsible and are unsure who is responsible to complete the renewal process**.
- When the IT administrator configures the **Team Membership and Team Site** **Permissions** in a Microsoft Teams archiving profile and chooses to **Change team site permissions**, they can now enable the automatic locking by choosing **Lock the team site**. A team site can be locked in “no access” or “read-only” status.
- When a workspace is locked, archived, or deleted in AvePoint Cloud Governance, the workspace phase status will be **Invalid**. After the archived or deleted workspace is restored, or the locked workspace is unlocked, the workspace phase status will be changed to **In** **compliance**.
- Note that this will not take effect for locked or archived workspace in the following scenarios:
- When a site collection is locked as the escalation action of an overdue renewal task or overdue confirm governance details task.
- When a group team site is locked as the escalation action of an overdue confirm governance details task.
- When a team is archived as the escalation action of an overdue renewal task or overdue confirm governance details task.
- When a site collection is temporarily locked and the site collection lifecycle action task for escalation is not started, in progress, or approved.
- When the IT administrator chooses to **Lock**/**Archive**/**Delete** a workspace in the **Workspace report** in the new Cloud Governance admin center, the ongoing workspace lifecycle renewal process will be automatically canceled.
- Optimize the pattern of the questionnaire which guides users to appropriate service requests in the Cloud Governance Portal and MyHub Teams App in a responsive way for the better user experience.
- The MyHub Teams app is now available in the Teams mobile app. You can now manage your tasks, submit new requests, and view workspaces on your mobile devices anywhere and anytime.
- The MyHub Teams app has been updated to version 1.0.9 to reorder the tabs in the app. Clicking MyHub will open the **Home** tab instead of the **Chat** tab.
Microsoft Teams can automatically update the apps that have been added to your Teams client. If you find that your MyHub app is not updated, you can try the following steps to open MyHub once again:
1. Click **Apps** in the lower-left corner.
2. On the **Apps** page, find and select the MyHub app.
3. Click **Open**.
IT administrators need to manually upload the new MyHub app package to your tenant apps catalog if your tenant is using the following environment:
- AvePoint Cloud Governance Insider environment
- AvePoint Cloud Governance for U.S. Government and Microsoft 365 Government GCC
- AvePoint Cloud Governance for U.S. Government and Global Microsoft 365
- In hubs in the Cloud Governance Portal, when users filter workspaces by **Organizational** **tags**, they can now select the Lookup metadata as the filter condition.
- The hub navigation menu in MyHub Teams app has been improved for a better user experience.
