AvePoint Cloud Governance May 2019

    Release Date: May 19, 2019

    - IT administrators can now enable the **Automatically** **approve the request when the requester is a member of the group** option when configuring an approval process. The group type can be Office 365 Group, Security group, Mail-enabled security group, or Distribution list. - IT administrators now have the option to **Allow to invite external users who are not in the Azure Active Directory** when configuring **External Sharing** settings in a group/team policy. - If your tenant wants to use AvePoint Cloud Governance Create Group/Team service requests and Change Group/Team Settings service requests to set options for **Subscribe Members** and **Outside Senders**, your tenant must have an impersonation account configured in AvePoint Cloud Governance. The impersonation account will be used to invoke Exchange Web Services APIs. Without any impersonation account, AvePoint Cloud Governance will use Microsoft Graph APIs to manage groups/teams; copies of conversations and events will not be sent to group/team members' mailboxes; users outside the organization are not allowed to send e-mails to groups/teams. - IT administrators can now define Azure Active Directory property values as conditions for **Questionnaire Permissions**. The users whose Azure Active Directory property values meet specific values can access the questionnaire. IT administrators can now define Azure Active Directory property values as conditions for **Service Permissions** in the following types of services: **Create Site Collection**, **Site Collection Lifecycle Management**, **Change Site Collection Contact or Administrator**, **Change Site Collection Settings**, **Create Group/Team**, **Group/Team Lifecycle Management**, and **Change Group/Team Settings**. The users whose Azure Active Directory property values meet specific values can submit requests via the service. - IT administrators can now set User Profile Property metadata values as conditions of conditional approval processes when they add conditional approval processes in a service. - IT administrators now have the options to **Enable archiving of the team** and **Enable restore of the archived team** when configuring **Group/Team Lifecycle Management Request Types** in a team policy. IT administrators can now create Group/Team Lifecycle Management services for archiving teams or restoring teams, so that business users can submit requests to archive teams or restore archived teams. IT administrators now have the option to **Enable automatic archiving of the team** when configuring **Group/Team Inactivity Threshold** or **Group/Team Lease Management** in a team policy. If a team inactivity threshold task or team lease expiration task is not completed in time, a team archiving task will be generated. - If an IT administrator configures User Profile Property metadata and chooses to get the property value from a variable role, if the IT administrator sets the metadata value to be assigned by IT administrator and shown as read-only to business users, when the selected variable role is a field that is assigned by the IT administrator and shown as read-only to business users, AvePoint Cloud Governance will now display the user property value as the metadata value in the request form. - The references for e-mail templates have been filtered according to e-mail template types. When IT administrators insert references in an e-mail subject or body, only the references available to the selected e-mail template type are shown to IT administrators. - There is now a new app package for the Cloud Governance Panel. After the new app package is uploaded to the app catalog site collection, for both the existing panel or for the newly added panel, the Cloud Governance Panel icon will now be displayed on every page of a site collection. When uploading the new app package, make sure the **Make this solution available to all sites in the organization** checkbox is selected. For the link to download the new app package, see the AvePoint Cloud Governance Administrator Guide. - Users can now filter site collections by Created Time in Site Collection Report and Public Site Collection Directory.
