Release Date for the U.S. Government Environment: July 10, 2022
- When configuring the Yammer community automatic import profile in **Profiles & templates** > **Automatic import profiles** > **Yammer community automatic import profile**, IT administrators can now choose whether to **Automatically enable AvePoint Cloud Governance App** and whether to **Automatically add the Cloud Governance Panel into the Yammer community site**.
- The fonts **Calibri**, **Calibri Light**, and **Open Sans** are now available when IT administrators configure the **Message body** in modern email templates in **Profiles & templates** > **Email templates**.
- If your organization uses the Microsoft 365 Government GCC High environment, all Cloud Governance guest user management features are now available. For example, IT administrators can now create Invite new guest user services, and business users can invite guest users to their organization via Invite new guest user service requests.
- IT administrators can perform various actions on requests in the **Request report**, and the detailed information on all these actions will be recorded in the **User Activity Report** in the classic Cloud Governance admin center allowing users to inspect the behaviors.
- In a group/team renewal profile, there is already an **Allow the renewal task assignee to add users to SharePoint groups** option. Currently, to support the renewal option correspondingly in the service template, when IT administrators configure the group/team renewal profile in a JSON file, a new **EnableAddUsersToSPGroup** node is now available to configure.
- When configuring the **Change Group/Team Assignment Settings** > **Dynamic group/team membership** in a Change Group/Team Settings service, IT administrators can now choose whether to **Allow requesters to change values of dynamic group/team membership rules** in the request form.
- When configuring the **Global system settings**, IT administrators can now configure the **Teams App Personal Settings**, and choose whether to **Allow users to change the personal settings in the Teams app** or **Hide** **the personal settings in the Teams app**. If they choose to allow users to change personal settings in the Teams app, users’ personal settings in the Teams app will be synchronized with the personal settings in the Cloud Governance Portal. If they hide personal settings in the Teams app, the language will follow users’ Teams app language and the time zone will follow users’ personal settings in the Cloud Governance Portal.
- When configuring a team renewal profile in **System** > **Recertification or Renewal Management**, there is now a **Private Channel Renewal Option** section for IT administrators to decide whether to enable renewal for the team’s private channel. With the option enabled, they need to configure corresponding renewal options. For a team with this profile applied, when a team renewal task is generated, a private channel renewal task will be generated at the same time.
- There is now a **My guest users** report displaying all guest users that a business user is responsible for the management as a primary or secondary contact. They can view the detailed guest user information, export guest users’ information, or renew the guest user in the report.
- In the **Requests** report, business users can now choose columns they want to display in the report as well as sort and filter items shown in the report.
- If your organization uses the U.S. Government environment of the Cloud Governance service and your tenant is in the Microsoft 365 US Government GCC High environment, the guest user management can now be available in the Cloud Governance portal > **Hubs**.
- In a Create Team request form, the team name is predefined by the IT administrator, and business users are required to configure the **Team ID** field. When they submit a Create Team request without specifying the Team ID, the request is not allowed to be submitted and an error message appears as a hint.
- In a hub, when you view Microsoft Teams or Yammer Communities on the list page or the details page, and click **Add to favorites** to mark some Teams/Yammer communities, the marked Teams/Yammer communities will be listed in the built-in **Favorite workspaces** hub until they are no longer marked as favorites.
