#AvePoint Cloud Governance September 2019

• In Site Collection Report, there is now an Apply Policy to All Site Collections option. The IT administrator can use this option to apply a site collection policy to all site collections.

• The IT administrator can now select the $Manager of Primary Site Collection Contact and $Manager of Secondary Site Collection Contact variable roles as the assignees of site collection renewal tasks.

  The IT administrator can now select the $Manager of Primary Group Contact and $Manager of Secondary Group Contact variable roles as the assignees of Office 365 Group/Microsoft Team renewal tasks.

• The IT administrator can now enable the Allow renewal task assignees to reassign tasks to other users option in a renewal profile. When renewal task assignees renew site collections or Office 365 Groups/Microsoft Teams, they can reassign the tasks to other users.

• The IT administrator can now choose to enable AvePoint Cloud Governance App and Cloud Governance Panel when using the Import Existing Office 365 Objects feature (both the automatic import and manual import methods). After site collections or Office 365 Groups/Microsoft Teams are successfully imported to AvePoint Cloud Governance, the app and panel will be automatically added to the site collections or group team sites.

• The IT administrator can now allow business users to create Microsoft Teams from team templates. Team templates can be the teams the IT administrator adds to the template scope or existing teams that the requesters belong to.

• The IT administrator can now configure Scheduled Report Export Settings to export Site Collection Report, Public Site Collection Directory, and User Activity Report on a schedule.

• In notification e-mails, show users' display names instead of login names.

• The following e-mail template types now support the To-Do List Link reference:

  • Site Collection Renewal Assignment E-mail Template

  • Site Collection Renewal Overdue E-mail Template

  • Office 365 Group Renewal Assignment E-mail Template

  • Office 365 Group Renewal Overdue E-mail Template

  • Confirm Governance Details for Site Collections E-mail Template

  • Confirm Governance Details for Office 365 Groups E-mail Template

  Clicking this link in the notification e-mails opens the My Sites or My Teams and Groups report. The corresponding built-in e-mail templates have been updated to include the To-Do List Link reference, but the changes only take effect on tenants that sign up for AvePoint Online Services after September 15, 2019. If your tenant signed up for AvePoint Online Services before September 15, 2019, you can edit the e-mail templates and add the To-Do List Link reference.

• The User Activity Report now contains the records about cancelling requests.

• In an automatic import profile for Office 365 Groups/Microsoft Teams, there is now a Keep group team site quota during the import process option. If the IT administrator does not choose to keep the group team site quota, the group team site quota will be updated to the quota set in the group/team policy.

  In the exported Office 365 Groups or Microsoft Teams template file that is exported from Import Existing Office 365 Objects > Export Mode, there is now a Keep Group Team Site Quota column. If the IT administrator does not want to keep group team site quota, the IT administrator can select No as the column value, and the group team site quota will be updated to the quota set in the group/team policy.

• Improved the loading performance of the Cloud Governance Panel.
