What’s New in the Modern Cloud Governance Admin Center?
- The following dynamic service updates are available in **Management** > **Dynamic services**:
- The **Grant predefined permissions** setting is now available for the **Manage permissions** service, allowing IT administrators to grant a set of predefined permissions to objects whose permissions are managed via this service request.
- The **Manage** **permissions** service scope can now inherit from a previously added service within the dynamic service main flow.
- IT administrators can now predefine a Microsoft Group / team / site collection photo or allow business users to configure the photo through requests for the following services: Create Microsoft 365 Group, Create site collection, Create team, Change Microsoft 365 Group settings, Change site settings, Change team settings.
- The **AvePoint Portal Manager template** setting is now available for the **Create site collection** service, allowing business users to create site collections using AvePoint Portal Manager templates via this service request. To use this setting, make sure that your organization has an available subscription for AvePoint Portal Manager.
- When adding metadata to **Invite guest user** services within a dynamic service main flow, IT administrators can now inherit the value of previously added metadata labeled with **Previous metadata** and add it to the guest user. This prevents business users from having to configure the same metadata repeatedly in a service request.
- IT administrators can now configure the **Matches** **any of** service metadata, object metadata, and new object metadata values condition in dynamic services.
- The following profile updates are available in **Management** > **Profiles & templates**:
- Automated escalation profiles and renewal profiles can now be configured for Copilot Studio agents.
- Cloud Governance integration with the Microsoft 365 Archive service now allows SharePoint sites to be Microsoft 365 Archived as part of lifecycle actions in escalation and renewal profiles.
- The **Renewal guidance profiles** has now been upgraded to the general **Guidance profiles**, expanding custom messaging support for confirm governance details tasks.
- The SharePoint permission level management has now been moved to **Permission level profiles** in the modern admin center to define available permission levels used for permission management.
- The **Lock the channel site** setting has now been hidden from team archiving profiles due to Microsoft issues. For tenants that have this setting configured, the task to lock the channel site will be skipped during the archiving of teams.
- The following updates are available in **System settings**:
- The Cloud Governance Panel App has been upgraded to the modern Site Information Card App and moved to the **Site information card management** setting for configurations. By enabling this app, business users can view governance details and initiate service requests directly within their Microsoft 365 workspace through a redesigned, in-context information card. If your tenant is using the classic Cloud Governance Panel App, please upgrade to the modern version before **November 16,** **2025** to avoid service interruptions. - MyHub now offers a streamlined SharePoint permission review interface for renewal tasks, enabling assignees to easily review, modify, or revoke site permissions. To use this new end user experience, opt in via the **Experience setting for renewal and confirm governance details tasks** setting.
- IT administrators can now configure the confirmation pop-up for bulk actions in the **Workspace report** using the **Bulk action confirmation** setting. When the affected object count of bulk actions exceeds the threshold, confirmation with the object count will be shown before executing the actions.
- IT administrators can now stop running jobs in **Job monitor**.
- The Cloud Governance API is now supported for the following service types, enabling integration with external systems for seamless automation: Create team, Change contact, Change ownership or membership, Change team settings, Team lifecycle management, Convert Microsoft 365 Group to team.
- Power Automate flows are now uniquely identified by a combination of the flow ID and environment ID.
- The registration for Actionable email provider now utilizes modern Cloud Governance API URLs.
What’s New in the End User Portal?
- Copilot Studio agent owners can now review agent contacts, permissions, and metadata using MyHub.
- The MyHub Teams app is now available for the 21Vianet environment.
- The end user interface has been optimized to adapt based on the selected object type for Change contact and Change metadata service requests.
- MyHub now offers a streamlined SharePoint permission review interface for renewal tasks, enabling assignees to easily review, modify, or revoke site permissions.
General Updates
Cloud Governance now integrates with the Microsoft Information Protection service for retrieval and application of workspace level sensitivity labels in the commercial, Microsoft 365 US Government GCC, Microsoft 365 US Government GCC High, and 21Vianet environments.
