General Updates

  • New dashboards have been added to the Command centers to enhance functionality:

    • Optimization & ROI – This dashboard helps organizations identify areas impacting operations across collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.

    • Risk Posture – This dashboard provides in-depth insights for security teams to configure policies, monitor risks, and track compliance-related events.

These dashboards are integrated with reports and links powered by the following AvePoint services: Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, Opus, tyGraph, Cloud Backup for Salesforce®, Insights, EnPower, and Cloud Governance. With built in Recommendations, the Confidence Platform will help your organization automate tasks and optimize your environments.

If your tenant does not have a subscription for a service, you can click Show sandbox data to view sample reports or click Contact sales to purchase a subscription.

  • Users who have configured the Subscription notification setting in AvePoint Online Services > Administration > Notification, will receive weekly email reminders if their subscription agreement remains unaccepted after the subscription renewal.

  • AvePoint Online Services commercial production environment now supports the following Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data centers:

    • GCP for Australia Southeast (Sydney)

    • GCP for West Europe (Eemshaven, Netherlands)

    • GCP for Japan (Tokyo)

    • GCP for East US (Moncks Corner)

    • GCP for South Korea (Seoul)

These GCP data centers are currently deployed with the following AvePoint services:

- Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 - Cloud Backup for Google Workspace - Opus - Insights
  • Users can now submit an Invite support ticket for existing issues directly within AvePoint Online Services commercial production environment.

  • In AvePoint Online Services, the left navigation pane includes the following updates:

    • The User activity report has been renamed to System auditor and moved from Administration to the System section.

    • Help has been renamed to Help & Resources.

What’s New in App Management?

  • Users no longer need to configure the Impersonation name when consenting to a custom Azure app in AvePoint Online Services > Management > App management. For services which requires the impersonation name information, customers can configure the field in the respective service environment.

  • Organization using Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 can now protect comments added on Planner tasks by configuring an app profile for the delegated app and selecting the Restore Planner task comments function when consenting to the app profile.

  • AvePoint Online Services now supports configuring a custom app profile for MyHub.

  • Customers with the AvePoint Portal Manager service can now configure app profiles for the AvePoint Portal Manager for Room-Terminal Interface View app type.

  • Organizations using tyGraph with a configured app profile of the tyGraph Suite or tyGraph for Copilot Adoption / Trials app type should re-authorize the app profile to add the AiEnterpriseInteraction.Read.All Microsoft Graph API permission to enable the Copilot Prompts report.

  • If your Microsoft tenant uses Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS and has app profiles of the following types, you can now re-authorize them to add the Microsoft Graph API permissions.

    • Cloud Backup for Azure

    • Cloud Backup for Azure AD B2C

  • If your organization uses EnPower and has an app profile of the EnPower for Microsoft 365 app type, you can now re-authorize the app profile to add the Microsoft Graph API permissions to the app.

  • Organizations with Vault protection enabled in Cloud Backup for Google Workspace must configure a custom Google app including the following permission scopes:

What’s New in Auto Discovery?

  • Organizations with Vault protection enabled in Cloud Backup for Google Workspace can now configure a scan profile to scan the Vault matter objects.

  • In Auto discovery > Scan profiles, when configuring an advanced mode scan profile to scan Power BI objects, with the Specified objects in one container rule selected for containers, you can now set the following conditions for the Workspace admin and Workspace admin email address criteria:

    • Contains

    • Does not contain

    • Matches

    • Does not match

    • Is empty

  • Auto discovery now supports scanning Viva Engage communities with the Community.ReadWrite.All Microsoft Graph API permission added on a service app or a custom app.

  • Organizations using EnPower can now configure a custom app to scan Copilot Studio objects. The Power Platform Administrator role must be assigned to the consenting user of the app profiles for scanning the Copilot Studio objects.
