General Updates

  • In Administration > General settings > Integration with Microsoft Azure Event Hubs, you can now configure settings to integrate audit records for specific services with Azure Event Hubs. The integration can support audit records from the following services:

    • AvePoint Online Services

    • Cloud Governance

    • Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365

    • Policies for Microsoft 365

    • Insights for Microsoft 365

    • Cloud Management services (includes Cloud Management, Cloud Archiving, and Classic DocAve Backup services)

  • In Administration > Data center mappings (only available to Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 enterprise subscriptions with multi-geo capabilities), the following Microsoft 365 geo locations can now be mapped to AvePoint Oline Services data centers: Asia-Pacific, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Europe/Middle East/Africa, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, North America, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Brazil, Norway, Sweden, Qatar, Poland, and Italy.

  • In Administration > General settings > Logo customization, the custom logo can now be applied to Insights for Microsoft 365.

  • When your AvePoint Opus user seats or capacity has exceeded your purchased limit, AvePoint Online Services will send an email notification to inform you that your subscription is out of policy.

What’s New in App Management?

  • In App management, when you select the following services to create an app profile of the Custom mode, you can now configure an app profile for a custom Azure app with delegated permissions:

    • Policies for Microsoft 365

    • Insights for Microsoft 365

    • Fly

  • In App management, when you select the following services to create an app profile of the Custom mode, you can now configure an app profile for a custom Azure app with application permissions:

    • Confide

    • tyGraph

  • In App management, when you select the following services to create an app profile of the Custom mode, you can now configure an app profile for a custom Google app:

    • Cloud Backup for Google Workspace

    • Fly

  • If your organization’s subscription for EnPower has included the Azure Resource Management module, you can now go to App management to configure an app profile of the EnPower for Azure Resources type.

  • If your organization’s subscription for Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 has included the Cloud Backup Express module, you can now go to App management to configure an app profile of the Cloud Backup Express type.

What’s New in Auto Discovery?

  • In Auto discovery > Scan profiles, when you configure an advanced mode scan profile for Microsoft 365 users, with the Specified objects in one container rule selected for containers, you can now set the following conditions to filter users:

  • Auto discovery now supports scanning Solutions with available app profiles for Power Platform objects.

  • If your tenant has configured an app profile of the Cloud Governance for Microsoft 365 type, in Auto discovery > Scan profiles, you can now configure a scan profile to scan the Microsoft 365 user objects.

  • If your tenant has configured an app profile of the Policies for Microsoft 365 type, in Auto discovery > Scan profiles, you can now configure a scan profile to scan the Security and distribution group objects.

If your tenant has configured an app profile of the Cloud Backup Express type, in Auto discovery > Scan profiles, you can now configure a scan profile to scan the Exchange mailbox, SharePoint site, and OneDrive objects.
