• AvePoint now supports a new data center - Germany West Central (Frankfurt) and the following services have been deployed to the data center:

• The cloud service License Manager is renamed to Cense, and the service logo is also updated accordingly.

• The new cloud service Cloud Backup for Google Workspace is now available in AvePoint Online Services. It has been deployed to the following data centers:

  • Australia Southeast (Victoria)

  • Canada Central (Toronto)

  • East US (Virginia)

  • France Central (Paris)

  • Germany West Central (Frankfurt)

  • North Europe (Ireland)

  • Switzerland North (Zurich)

  • UK South (London)

  • West Europe (Netherlands)

• In Advanced Settings > Notifications & E-mail Settings, you can now select the dd/MM/yyyy date format.

• If your organization is using AvePoint Cense, you can now customize the following options for Batch Import of Microsoft 365 users.

  • How would you like to handle the imported Microsoft 365 users in Auto Discovery scan jobs?

  Ignore the scan rules and keep the imported users in their original containers

  • How would you like to handle the imported Microsoft 365 users in Batch Import jobs?

  Move the imported users from the original containers to the new containers

• In Auto Discovery > Scan Profiles, if Mailboxes are included in the scan scope and you configure a scan profile that uses the app profile authentication method, you can now choose to include in-place archived mailboxes in the scan scope by selecting the Scan in-place archived mailboxes checkbox.

• In Auto Discovery, when you configure an advanced mode scan profile and set rules for Groups/Teams/Yammer Communities, you can now use the Usage Location of Creator to scan groups, teams, and Yammer communities.

• If your organization is using Cense and you want to batch create scan profiles for Microsoft 365 users, you can contact AvePoint Technical Support to acquire the link to the AvePoint App Registration page to register an app with the autodiscovery.readwrite.all permission.

• The AvePoint Online Services Administration for Office 365 app has been updated to add the Microsoft 365 Graph API application permission AuditLog.Read.All. If your organization is using AvePoint Insights for Microsoft 365, this permission is required to retrieve the last sign-in time of external users.

  • If your tenant is using the Microsoft 365 (All Permissions) app profile, you must re-authorize the app profile to add the permission.

  • If your tenant is using the custom Azure app profile, you must first manually add the permission to your custom Azure app and then re-authorize the custom Azure app profile.

• AvePoint cloud services now charge for licenses for the following Microsoft 365 subscriptions:

  • Microsoft 365 E5 – GCCHigh

  • Exchange Online (Plan 1) for GCC High

  • Office 365 E5 without Audio Conferencing – GCCHigh

• AvePoint cloud services no longer charge for licenses for the Microsoft 365 subscription – Office 365 F1.

• AvePoint Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365 now charges for licenses for the following Dynamics 365 subscriptions:

  • Dynamics 365 Sales Premium

  • Microsoft Relationship Sales solution Plus

  • Subscription name changing: Dynamics 365 Project Operations (Formerly, the Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation)
