    • In Notification & E-mail Settings > Notification Settings > Announcement Notification, you can now subscribe to announcements by e-mail to ensure that important announcements will be noticed in a timely manner. By default, when AvePoint publishes an announcement related to a service interruption or additional required configurations, the Tenant Owner and all Service Administrators will receive a notification e-mail. You can select the announcement categories to decide what announcement notifications your tenant will receive, as well as select your desired e-mail recipients.

    • If you want to improve the performance of scanning Microsoft 365 Groups and Microsoft Teams in Auto Discovery, you can contact AvePoint Technical Support.

    • Cloud Governance and Insights for Microsoft 365 have the following permission updates:

      • Cloud Governance – If you need to specify a specific Microsoft 365 account as the e-mail sender when configuring E-mail settings in the new Cloud Governance admin center, an additional Microsoft Graph API application permission Mail.Send is required.

      Re-authorize your AvePoint Online Services Administration for Azure app or manually add the permission to your custom Azure app to grant the permission.

      • Insights for Microsoft 365 – Re-authorize your AvePoint Online Services Administration for Office 365 app or manually add the following permissions to your custom Azure app to grant the permissions.

        • Grant the Microsoft Graph API application permission User.Read.All if you want to display user photos and user basic information in Insights for Microsoft 365.

        • Grant the Microsoft Graph API application permission ChannelMember.ReadWrite.All if you want to add owners for Teams private channels in Insights for Microsoft 365.

    • AvePoint cloud services now charge for licenses for the Microsoft 365 subscription – Microsoft 365 E5 without Audio Conferencing.

    • AvePoint Cloud Backup for Salesforce® no longer charges licenses from Salesforce standard users with the Chatter Only license.
