The AvePoint cloud services charging list has been updated. Licenses for the following Microsoft 365 subscriptions will no longer incur charges: Microsoft 365 A5 student use benefits, Microsoft 365 A5 Security for faculty, and Office 365 A1 for Faculty.
The user activity report now logs the Call API to Get User Activity Report action. Each instance of the audit.read.all API call for retrieving user activities will have its audit details included in the exported user activity reports.
The Quick start wizard now dynamically displays the Scan profile step based on whether a customer’s organization has a subscription for a service supporting Auto discovery. If not, this step will not appear in the wizard.
New customers that sign up for AvePoint Online Services must read the Preference and Consent terms, and then select the I agree to the preference and consent. checkbox to proceed.
Customers can now start a trial of the Cloud Governance service independently, without needing to subscribe to the Cloud Management service.
In Administration > General settings, when configuring the Integration with Microsoft Azure Event Hubs settings, you can now include Confide in the Specific services scope.
If you select the Modern mode, a warning message will explain why the Custom mode is recommended.
In Auto discovery > Scan profiles, when configuring an advanced mode scan profile with the Specified objects in one container rule selected for containers, you can now set conditions to filter objects based on the following criteria:
For OneDrive objects, use the Basic user information > Employee type criterion.
For Connection, Power App, Power Automate, or Solution objects, use the Environment > Type criterion.
For Power App objects, use the App type criterion.
For Google Shared drive objects, use the Organizational units criterion.
For Microsoft 365 Group / Microsoft Team / Viva Engage community objects, use the Matches or Does not match conditions for the Group / Team / Viva Engage community property > Member criterion.
In Job monitor, the status of the objects that were not scanned into containers due to minor errors has been changed from Failed to Exception.
In Auto discovery > Containers, when you select a container of the Microsoft 365 Group / Microsoft Team / Viva Engage community object type and use the Batch import method to import Group Teams, you can now select the Include channels when importing checkbox if you want the import job to retrieve channels automatically.
After running a scan profile to scan Microsoft 365 Group / Microsoft Team / Viva Engage community objects, the exported job report can now include the Group team site URL column in the Groups_Teams_Engage communities sheet.
