#General Updates

• AvePoint Cloud Backup for Google Workspace no longer charges for the following subscriptions:

  • Google Voice Starter (SKU ID: 1010330003)

  • Google Voice Standard (SKU ID: 1010330004)

  • Google Voice Premier (SKU ID: 1010330002)

• The new cloud service Entrust is now available in AvePoint Online Services. It has been deployed to the following data centers:

  • Australia Southeast (Victoria)

  • Canada Central (Toronto)

  • East US (Virginia)

  • France Central (Paris)

  • Germany West Central (Frankfurt)

  • Japan West (Osaka)

  • North Europe (Ireland)

  • Southeast Asia (Singapore)

  • Switzerland North (Zurich)

  • UK South (London)

  • US Gov Virginia (Virginia)

  • West Europe (Netherlands)

You can get a 30-day trial license when you sign up for AvePoint Online Services or in the AvePoint Online Services Store. To use the Entrust service for your organization, users must first be added as AvePoint Online Services users in User Management and assigned different roles for the service, and scan profiles must be configured in Auto Discovery to scan your Microsoft 365 objects into Entrust.

If your organization has a working license for the Entrust service and wants to use Workflows in Entrust for automated flows, ensure you have enabled report data collection in AvePoint Online Services > Report Data Collection > Activities in Microsoft 365. Once your license for the Entrust service expires, this collection will be stopped the next day. After you renew the license for the Entrust service, this collection will be reactivated the next day.

#What’s new in App Management?

• The AvePoint Online Services Administration for Azure app has been updated to add the following Microsoft Graph API application permissions: Channel.Create and ChannelSettings.ReadWrite.All. If your organization is using AvePoint Cloud Governance, these permissions are required to create private channels and update private channel properties in Microsoft Teams.

#What’s new in Auto Discovery?

• In Auto Discovery, you can now set Sensitivity Label rules in advanced mode scan profiles to scan SharePoint Sites, Microsoft 365 Groups/Microsoft Teams/Yammer Communities, or Project Sites into containers.

• In Auto Discovery, if the app profile selected in a scan profile cannot meet the requirements of your Microsoft 365 data management, you can now add a service account profile or MFA service account profile as an additional method in this scan profile.

#Resolved Known Issue

• In Auto Discovery, the Exchange Online Public Folders whose names' length exceed 255 characters can now be scanned into AvePoint Online Services.
