    AvePoint Online Services September 2019

    Release Date: September 15, 2019

    • To provide better help for checking Dynamic Object Registration unsuccessful scan jobs, more details have been added to the error messages in the Comment field on the View Scan History page.

    • If you want to invoke AvePoint Online Services APIs to add containers into existing scan profiles or import a batch of objects into existing containers, you can refer to the AvePoint Online Services Web API Help Page on the AvePoint official site.

    • Dynamic Object Registration can now generate a conclusion report for daily and weekly scan updates. On a scan profile’s View Scan History page, in the “What’s New” Report field, you can choose to download the scan profile's daily or weekly updates report. If you want to use e-mails to send conclusion reports of all scan profiles' updates to specific recipients, you can enable the “What’s New” digest setting in Job Notification.

    • In Advanced Settings > Session Settings, under the Concurrent Sign-in Setting tab, the Tenant Owner and Service Administrators can now choose whether to allow an account to sign into AvePoint Online Services in multiple locations at the same time.

    • AvePoint Online Services can now merge your sign-up account (local account) with your federated Office 365 or Salesforce account in a simple step as you launch the service.

    • Added the Read all usage reports permission to the app generated from an Office 365 app profile. With this permission, AvePoint Cloud Backup for Office 365 can retrieve data size directly, which will improve the License Consumption Report efficiency.

    • By default, AvePoint Online Services will retain user activity audit logs for three years. In User Activity Report > Retention Setting, the Tenant Owner and Service Administrators can change the retention time of the user activity audit logs. The expired activity audit logs will be deleted.

    • If you want to use custom Azure apps with different permissions, in Management > App Management, you can now create multiple app profiles for different custom Azure apps.

    • In Dynamic Object Registration > Scan Profiles > View Scan History, when the Comment field displays error messages containing error code links, you can click the link to view helpful notes.

    • By default, the display language of AvePoint Online Services notification e-mail content is set according to your tenant’s AvePoint Online Services data center. If your organization needs to change the display language, the Tenant Owner and Service Administrators can now navigate to Advanced Settings > E-mail Settings > E-mail Language to select a language preference.

    • In Notification Center > Notification History, a Date column has been added to indicate the date when the notification is published.

    • Failed login events can now be recorded in the User Activity Report.
