#Configure API Usage Limit

Administrators can configure a percentage for Salesforce API usage limits in Settings. When the API usage of your organization within 24 hours exceeds the percentage, the jobs in AvePoint Cloud Backup for Salesforce® will be automatically paused. When there is enough API quota, the jobs will be resumed.

The total number of API requests allowed by Salesforce is defined by the users’ licenses in the organization. For details, refer to the Salesforce documentation: For your current API usage, navigate to Salesforce > System Overview > API Usage.

Complete the following steps to configure the API usage limit in AvePoint Cloud Backup for Salesforce®:

1. Navigate to Settings > General.

2. Click API usage limit.

3. In the API usage limit panel, enter an integer from 1 to 100 in the text box of an organization to define the percentage. Make sure you set an appropriate value to ensure your jobs will not be affected.

4. Click Apply to save the configurations.
