Administration

    In Administration, tenant owners and administrators can configure tenant-wide controls for access, security, integrations, communications, data collection, and subscription visibility across AvePoint cloud services.

    The Administration area includes the following high-level functions:

    • Configure App Regitrations – Register and manage app registrations for API authentication and service integration.

    • Control Ava Access – Control Ava access by enabling or restricting it for specific users or groups.

    • Configure General Settings – Configure culture settings, logo customization, terminology mappings, email sender settings, and integrations such as Microsoft Azure Event Hubs.

    • Configure Notifications Settings – Configure authentication, auto discovery, subscription, and announcement notifications, and manage email recipient profiles for targeted communications.

    • Configure Security Settings – Configure trusted IP address settings, password rotation and MFA policies for local accounts, session timeout, concurrent sign-in behavior, support account access, and download reserved IP addresses or ARM VNet IDs for network allow-listing.

    • Enable Report Data Collection – Enable and scope report data collection for Microsoft 365 activity data, choose storage and advanced filtering options, and configure prerequisites for related reporting and governance features.

    • View Subscription and Licensing Information - Review subscription and licensing status for available services.

    • Configure Benchmarking – Configure benchmarking participation.

    • Manage Data Center Mappings - Manage Microsoft 365 multi-geo data center mappings for Cloud Backup.
