#General Updates

• Cloud Backup Express now offers subscription by user seats, allowing backup of a fixed number of mailboxes, OneDrive accounts, and site collections with unlimited capacity. This provides predictable costs for easier budgeting and alignment with pre-approved budgets.

• For offboarded users, a shorter retention period can now be configured for Exchange Online and OneDrive backup data under Remove unprotected data > Offboarded users.

• When restoring site collection backup data, you can now choose to Enable the Custom Scripts setting to restore data related to scripts.

• Power BI reports larger than 1 GB in the small semantic model storage format are now supported for backup by AvePoint Cloud Backup.

• Folder-level content deletion is now supported for Exchange Online backup data, in addition to item-level deletion.

• Organizations can now contact AvePoint support to customize the notification threshold for unusual activities.

• The Teams Chat backup settings experience has been improved for better usability.

• The Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 standalone tool now supports exporting backup data from Google Cloud Storage for BYOS customers, and also supports exporting backup data for Teams channel conversations.

• Email notifications related to data retention have been enhanced for clarity and consistency.

#ReCenter for Microsoft 365

• Language support has been expanded to include Italian, Turkish, Dutch, Hungarian, and Thai.

• The following improvements have been made to the Exchange Online module:

  • ReCenter now supports the end user restore and export of shared mailbox backup data. Administrators can control whether to allow shared mailbox owners and members to export shared mailbox backup data from ReCenter by configuring the End-user restore settings in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.

  • End users can now restore and export in-place archive mailbox data for their own mailboxes.

  • A new search filter allows end users to Search exclusively for mail items that contain attachments in Exchange Online backup data.

• ReCenter now supports end user restore and export of Microsoft 365 Group mailbox backup data.
