Export to PDFRelease Date for the Commercial Environment: June 11, 2023
Release Date for the US Government Environment: June 18, 2023
The following new features and improvements are made to the new experience of the Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365:
The new user interface is now set as the default user interface. However, the old user interface will still be available for you to use until the August release.
Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 supports the backup and restore of Power Apps.
You can now configure service apps for Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365. If you do not have service apps, Cloud Backup will use the Microsoft 365 default app or the custom app to protect your data.
The onboarding wizard that appears when you sign into Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 interface for the first time has been improved. You can now get a thorough check on your preparations before enabling the backup services.
Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 now supports the backup and restore of Planner data via the App profile authentication.
In the Settings > End-user restore page, you can now choose to enable or disable the Export action of a specific service for ReCenter and AVA users.
You can now use App Profile Authentication to scan Project Online site collections, but you must have at least one service account with enough permissions configured for the backup and restore.
To protect Public Folders data, you must configure impersonation accounts after the June 2023 release. For existing customers, your impersonation accounts previously configured in the AvePoint Online Services interface will be synchronized to Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365. You can check and configure the impersonation accounts through Settings > Backup.
ReCenter now supports users to recover backup data via the Export method. Once an export job is finished, users can go to Request history to download the encrypted content, and then get the password to decrypt the downloaded content.
Administrators can now control whether to allow users to export backup data of specific service types from ReCenter by configuring the End-user restore settings in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
ReCenter now supports to display a message to notify users when they reach the monthly limitation (100 GB) on the amount content to be exported.
On the top of the left navigation, you can now view the new button that is used to collapse/expand the navigation.
