#General Updates

• AvePoint Online Services now integrates with Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 to provide dashboards in Command centers.

  • In the Optimization & ROI command center, the top dashboard provides the module protected percentage, the total data size protected and restored by Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, and the corresponding growth rate over the past 30 days.

  • In the Risk Posture command center, the Backup scope dashboard displays the number of objects within the backup scope compared to the total objects detected over the past 12 months. The Unusual activities analysis (ransomware events) dashboard shows the number of objects under potential ransomware attacks and those with unusual activities in Microsoft 365 in the past 7 days.

• In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the left navigation pane has been updated with the following changes:

  • Account management has been renamed to User management.

  • Microsoft 365 unusual activities analysis has been renamed to Unusual activities analysis.

  • Help has been renamed to Help & Resources.

• If you want to use the default storage hosted by AvePoint, you can now choose to use the Google Cloud Storage type as well as the Microsoft Azure Storage type and the Amazon S3 storage type when purchasing Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.

• To restore comments added to Planner tasks, you must configure an app profile for the delegated app in AvePoint Online Services and select the Restore Planner task comments function when consenting to the app profile.

• The unusual activity email notification is now split into two separate emails: one for unusual activities and another for potential ransomware attacks. You can create separate notification profiles to address different scenarios.

• For errors with error codes, you can now skip specific errors by error codes to prevent them from affecting the job status in Settings > Backup.

• Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 now supports configuring a data retention period of less than one year at the container level.

#ReCenter for Microsoft 365

• The ReCenter portal now supports Polish.

• ReCenter now supports loading all folders in Tree mode and can display up to 2000 search results.
