    AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 May 2021

    • AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 no longer shares the same landing page with AvePoint Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365.

    • AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 is now supported in the Switzerland North (Zurich) and Korea Central (Seoul) data center.

    • You can now set a 20-year retention period.

    • BYOS license customers using Microsoft Azure storage now can append another Azure storage for the backup and restore of AvePoint Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 services.

    • As the Migration import API has been improved, the high speed method restore job now can support restoring content that is larger than 15 GB.

    • Microsoft Graph API can now be used to back up and restore Teams public channel conversations. If you use a custom app profile to back up your Teams, please ensure that you contact Microsoft before the release date to configure the permissions in this Microsoft article to prevent any issues or service degradation with your backup, or you can also use the AvePoint default app to prevent issues.
