General Updates

  • Opus is now available in the South Africa North (Johannesburg) and Qatar Central (Doha) data centers.

  • The default sender address for email notifications sent from Opus has been updated to Opus_Team@avepointonlineservices.com.

  • A compliant export wizard is now available, allowing you to define export formats, map metadata, and select export locations, which simplifies complex export configurations, reduces manual effort, and enhances data governance.

  • The following languages are now supported for Ava: Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese. For the languages that are not supported by Opus, Ava will display English.

What’s New in Restore Center?

  • You can now configure an inclusion list to enable content search only for specific site collections or configure an exclusion list to exclude specific site collections from content search, leaving all other site collections searchable. The previous 100-site collection limit has now been removed.

  • You can now search for multiple site collections and restore them in batch.

What’s New in Discovery and Analysis?

  • You can now archive SharePoint Online or OneDrive content without deleting it from the content source.

What’s New in Content Sources?

  • When exporting content source settings into an editable template, you can now export the entire content source structure including nodes without custom settings.

  • You can now archive SharePoint Online or OneDrive content without deleting it from the content source.

  • You can now search for documents by both document name and document ID when managing related records in SharePoint Online or SharePoint On-Premises. The new lazy loading feature dynamically displays all search results as you scroll, ensuring smooth browsing without performance issues.

What’s New in Reporting?

  • The term usage report now pulls data directly from the backend database instead of from content sources, ensuring the report reflects the most accurate and up-to-date term usage data stored in the system.

What’s New in MyHub Integration?

  • You can now set your preferred Date format and Time format settings in the Personal settings section, and records under Tasks & to-dos > Items waiting for disposal approval will follow these custom formats.

What’s New in the ReCenter Portal?

  • ReCenter is now available in the Qatar Central (Doha) and GCP for East US (Moncks Corner) data centers.
