Access AvePoint Portal Manager

This section explains how to access AvePoint Portal Manager, including how to register a new account and sign in to the service before you can start building, managing, or browsing intranet portal sites.

Register an Account

Refer to the following instructions to register an account for AvePoint Portal Manager:

  • For the Japan data center, you need to sign up for AvePoint Online Services to access the AvePoint Portal Manager service using the following URL: https://apm.avepointonlineservices.com.

    For details on signing up for AvePoint Online Services, refer to Sign Up for AvePoint Online Services.

  • For the Southeast Asia data center, refer to the steps below to register an account:

    NOTE

    The user whose account is used to sign up for AvePoint Portal Manager will be set as the Tenant Owner and be assigned with the Administrator role in AvePoint Portal Manager.

    1. Access AvePoint Portal Manager through the following URL: https://accpm.avepointonlineservices.com.

    2. Click LOGIN in the upper-right corner of the page.

    3. A window pops up requiring you to sign in to AvePoint Portal Manager. Click Sign up now.

    4. Complete the required information on the window, and then click Sign up.

      NOTE

      > Make sure the email address used to register the account is valid.

  • For other data centers, please contact your AvePoint sales representative for details on registering an account.

Sign in to AvePoint Portal Manager

Access AvePoint Portal Manager through the following URLs:

On the sign-in page, you can sign in with a registered account or with a Microsoft 365 account.

Sign in with a Registered Account

To sign in with a registered account, complete the following steps:

  1. On the sign-in page, enter your login information:

    • Email address – The email address used to register the account.

    • Password – Your password.

  2. Click Sign In to access the AvePoint Portal Manager homepage.

Sign in with a Microsoft 365 Account

To sign in with a Microsoft 365 account, complete the following steps:

  1. On the sign-in page, click Sign in with Microsoft.

    NOTE

    If you are using the Microsoft 365 account to sign in to another app on the same browser, you will be automatically signed into AvePoint Portal Manager using the same Microsoft 365 account.

  2. On the Microsoft 365 authentication page, enter an existing Microsoft 365 login ID and password.

  3. Click Sign in. If this is the first time that this Microsoft 365 account is signing into AvePoint Portal Manager, the required permissions are displayed. Review the permissions and click Accept.

    NOTE

    After clicking Sign in, users with the Global Administrator role will see a checkbox allowing them to consent on behalf of the entire tenant. With the tenant-wide admin consent granted, the required permission window will no longer pop up when other users within the tenant sign in to AvePoint Portal Manager.
