• The left navigation pane in Policies for Microsoft 365 has been optimized with the following key changes:

  • Violations has been renamed to Violations report.

  • The Activity section has been added, including Job monitor.

  • The System section has been added, including Settings (renamed from General settings), System auditor (renamed from Audits), and Help.

• Enhancements have been made to the Site Owner Number Restriction and Owner Number Restriction rules to prevent ownerless workspaces.

• New default policy templates, AI Confidence for Sites, AI Confidence for Groups or Teams, Ownerless Sites Monitor and Ownerless Groups orTeams Monitor, are now available, helping you quickly get started.

• A new condition, Membership domain, has been added to Defined Groups, allowing the detection of groups when their members are out-of-policy.

• You now have the option to send a notification of the violations to the primary or secondary contact when using the Ownership Restriction rule.

• You now have the option to send a notification of the violations to the Group or Team owners when using the Deletion Restriction rule.
