General Updates

When you access the AvePoint EnPower environment for the first time using a Microsoft 365 account via the direct URL (https://smp.avepointonlineservices.com/), a pop-up window will prompt you to federate your account if you initially signed up for AvePoint Online Services with a local account. In the pop-up window, you can choose to federate your local account with your Microsoft 365 account for single sign-on access.

  • When creating auto discovery rules in AvePoint Online Services, objects can now be scanned into containers based on the following conditions:

    • Cloud Governance custom property

    • SharePoint sites and OneDrive’s Site status

    • Power App and Power Automate flow owners’ Group membership

    • Power App and Power Automate flow owners whose Company, Department, or Office is empty.

  • The sender of EnPower notifications can now be customized in AvePoint Online Services > Administration > General settings > Email settings.

What’s New in Power Platform Management?

  • Solution dashboard is now available, displaying solution usage, users, and lifecycle information.

  • Shadow users in nested groups in environments, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows can now be monitored and managed. The level of nested groups to manage can be configured in System administration > Settings > Report settings.

  • The Legacy flow and Legacy apps charts now display flows and apps with no data for the following dates:

    • Power Apps:

      • Last publihed date

      • Last launched date

    • Power Automate flows

      • Last run date

      • Last active date

  • The Orphaned apps dashboards for Power App and Power Automate now includes the Or condition when defining ownership risks.

  • The creator of flows in solutions can now be updated both in Power Automate's management module and via workflows.

  • When applying a DLP policy to an environment, the policy is now automatically assigned to the environment, regardless of the policy's scope settings.

  • The Environment details report, which displays DLP policy information, can now be exported.

  • A DLP policy column is now available on the Environments page, showing the number of DLP policies applied to each environment. Clicking the number will show the list of applied policies.

  • Power Apps and Power Automate cloud flows that lack data for Last renewal time, Last launched time, and Last activity date can now trigger workflows by setting the trigger condition for these properties to “Is None”.

  • The Channel details report can now be exported from Teams > Channel report.

What’s New in Management Integrated with Cloud Governance?

  • Cloud Governance properties and lifecycle management are now available for SharePoint sites in EnPower.

  • Cloud Governance properties and lifecycle management are now available for OneDrives in EnPower. Additionally, OneDrive assessment in Insights for Microsoft 365 can be enabled.

  • The renewal process for the following objects can now be completed by auto-complete in EnPower:

    • Shared mailboxes

    • Distribution lists

    • Security groups

    • Mail-enabled security groups

    • OneDrive

    • Power Apps

    • Environments

    • Power BI workspaces

    • Power Automate cloud flows
