The Data Export Service is provided to AvePoint customers who want to archive the legacy backup data for potential restore in the future or plan to end their subscription to AvePoint Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365 and move away with backup data.
AvePoint will retain the backup data in AvePoint storage for 15 days, subject to the terms of your service agreement if the subscription to AvePoint Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365 service ends. The backup data in AvePoint storage can be exported to your own storage as a paid service. You must submit an export request if you wish to export your data from AvePoint Storage.
If your subscription is BYOS type, ending your subscription will not delete the backup data stored in your own storage. You do not need to pay an export fee.
After the backup data is exported to your device, you can use a stand-alone Data Export tool to convert the backup data encrypted in AvePoint format to readable content.
