#Configure Notifications

If your tenant has multiple teams or departments to manage and monitor the operations and usage in Cloud Backup for Dynamics 365, you can now group these email recipients by configuring separate notification profiles.

To configure a notification profile, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Settings > Notification.

2. On the Notification page, you can click Create notification profile to create a new notification profile. If you have configured notification settings before, your settings will be saved to the Default notification profile. You can update or delete this profile as needed.

3. Enter a name and an optional description for this notification profile.

4. Enter the e-mail addresses in the Send email notifications to the following email addresses text box to configure the recipients for the e-mail notifications. You can enter the email addresses of users or groups. For groups, you must ensure the group you entered can receive emails. Otherwise, the group members will not be notified.

5. In the Send email notifications for the jobs in the following statuses section, select the job statuses of the Backup, Restore, Dry run, Mapping, or Retention jobs which will trigger the notification.

6. Click Save to save your changes to this notification profile, or click Cancel to exit without saving.
