#General Updates

• General mode is no longer supported in risk definition for both Insights for Microsoft 365 and Insights for Google. Existing sensitivity and exposure definition settings will be automatically updated to the default profile and applied to the containers in your configured data scope.

• Administrators can now choose whether to grant export report permissions to Visitor users.

#What’s New in Insights for Microsoft 365?

• Private Preview: A new hybrid sensitivity scan method is available. In addition to the native sensitivity scan method, you can also use the scan engine conditions provided by AvePoint for sensitive data scanning.

• A new risk-prioritized scan mode allows you to generate a quick initial risk assessment by prioritizing objects with unique permissions during a full scan.

• Insights now supports AI agents, including Copilot Studio agents, SharePoint agents, and Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Foundry) agents. You can configure risk definitions for these agents, view detailed activity reports, and review the top 10 agents accessing sensitive files from the Activity explorer > Overview page.

• Additional API permissions need to be added to your custom app to enable access to related features.

  • Sync retention labels from Microsoft 365 and use retention labels as conditions in sensitivity definitions

  • Enable Copilot Studio, SharePoint agents, and Microsoft Foundry workspaces in Insights

    NOTE

    This feature only supports for custom Azure app.

• You can now create a policy and immediately run an Enforce policy job for a Microsoft 365 workspace directly from the Risk analysis > Overview > Details page without having to sign in to the Policies for Microsoft 365 service.

• Microsoft 365 retention labels can now be configured as conditions in sensitivity definitions.

• You can now choose whether to remove user permissions granted via sharing links when removing permissions from an orphaned user.

#What’s New in Insights for Google?

• The N/A sensitivity level has been enhanced to Not sensitive and No sensitivity definition applied to be clearer. The N/A risk level has been enhanced to No risk and No sensitivity definition applied to be clearer.
