• The New profile page has been redesigned with an enhanced step-by-step wizard to help you create risk definition profiles faster and more intuitively.

#What’s New in Insights for Microsoft 365?

• Public Preview: Activity-based risk detection has been enhanced to identify risky user behaviors more effectively. This feature accelerates threat identification by monitoring anomalous activities from multiple perspectives. You can now view statistics based on the detection rules you configured on the Overview page of Activity explorer and view the corresponding risky users in the Insights detections tab of the new integrated Risky users page.

• With a Policies for Microsoft 365 subscription, you can now run a one-time 'Remove inactive guest users' policy on the External users page to remove guest users in bulk based on how long they have been inactive.

  Alternatively, you can also run this policy directly from the Intelligent remediation page for the Remove Inactive Guest Users suggested rule, without having to sign in to Policies for Microsoft 365.

• You can now set up multiple custom notifications with personalized settings, giving you greater flexibility and control over alerts.

• You can now update the Insights scan scope to include all new containers.

  • In general mode, every new container will be automatically scanned using your current risk definition settings.

  • In advanced mode, every new container will be automatically scanned based on the selected risk definition profile.
