App Suite

    AvePoint Portal Manager provides built-in Vehicle Reservation, Conference Room Reservation, Office Equipment Management, Desk Reservation, and Address Book apps that can be used directly while configuring templates. Based on your business needs, you can also build your app with the Teams App Builder (Private Preview). For details on how the app built by Teams App Builder are used in your environment, refer to Teams App Created by Teams App Builder (Private Preview).

    You can utilize the apps in your company portal. Deploy templates with the apps to different site collections respectively and link the site collections to your company portal, either via the portal navigation or quick links. Employees in your company will be able to access the apps easily.

    NOTE

    These apps are not available for all CPM tenants. To use the apps or learn more about the apps, please contact your AvePoint sales representative for details.

    Once a template with an app configured is deployed, app administrators must complete initial configurations before the apps can be used.

    NOTE

    Deployed apps may take some time to appear in your Microsoft Teams client due to the Microsoft synchronization delays.

    Below is an introduction to the default app administrators:

    • If the template is deployed as a Teams app, the default app administrators refer to the App Administrators you defined while deploying the template.

    • If the template is deployed as tabs of specific teams, the default app administrators refer to the owners of these teams.

    • If the template is deployed to existing site collections, the default app administrators refer to the site collection administrators of the site collections.

    • If the template is deployed to new site collections, the default app administrators refer to the Site Collection Administrator you defined while deploying the template.
