    Re-authorize an App Profile

    To avoid service interruption, you may need to reauthorize an app profile in some scenarios. For more details, see Re-authorize an App Profile. To re-authorize the app profile, complete the steps below:

    1. Navigate to Management > App management in the AvePoint Online Services interface.

    2. Select the app profile and click Re-authorize above the table.

    3. When reauthorizing an app created in modern mode or an Azure app with delegated permissions, select the consent method from Administrator consent and User consent.

      NOTE

      If you select User consent, the consenting user must have the Teams Administrator role.

    4. Click Continue to consent. You will be redirected to sign in to your account and consent the app.

    NOTE

    • The consent user must remain active in your Microsoft Entra ID and should not be deleted.

    • Avoid modifying the password for the consent user account. If your organization enforces periodic password rotation policies, exclude the user from these policies.

    • The consent user’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) setting must remain unchanged. If your organization enforces MFA after the consent, ensure this user is excluded.
