Configure Migration Method
Content Manager supports two migration methods: Standard Copy and High Speed Method. To configure the migration method, navigate to Default Copy Settings/Plan Builder > Migration Method.
- **Standard** **Copy** – Provides you with full support for copying data, but with lower speed than the High Speed Method.
- **High Speed Method** – Supports copying data using high speed, but with some limitations compared to the Standard Copy Method.
> ***Note**: For data that High Speed Method does not support copying, Standard Copy Method will be automatically used to copy the data.
Refer to the following information for the detailed limitations of High Speed Method:
- Only documents and folders in document libraries are supported.
- Only items and attachments in custom lists are supported.
- NewsFeed items in Microfeed list are supported.
- Versions of folders are not supported.
- Checked-out versions of documents cannot be copied to the destination, apart from the ones made by the Microsoft 365 service account.
