• The CAP Gateway mode has been enhanced with the following improvements:

  • The CAP Gateway mode now supports Azure SQL Backup service for added protection.

  • CAP gateway installation for Amazon and Google platform resources is fully automated, making setup faster and easier.

  • Email notification for CAP Gateway auto-upgrade failures is now available. The alert is triggered after 7 retries and can be configured within the notification profile settings.

• You can now use your own SFTP or FTP storage for backups of Microsoft Entra ID, Admin Portal Settings, and Azure AD B2C. Configure secure connections to local or hosted file shares for full control and compliance.

• A new built-in group, Read-only users, has been introduced. All invited support account users will automatically be assigned to this group, which provides restricted, view-only access.

• Microsoft Entra ID backup now supports up to four incremental jobs per day. Configure your schedule for more recovery points and meet demanding SLAs without manual effort.

• Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS now supports the Qatar Central (Doha) and South Africa North (Johannesburg) data centers.

• For the Google VM instance service, you can now create a single service account for multiple Google projects. This can be configured via AvePoint Online Services > Management > Service account.
