• The Azure Virtual Machine service now allows you to select specific disks to protect when configuring a backup scope.

• To enhance the configuration process for backup scope in Microsoft Entra ID and Admin Portal Settings service, the "Check Permissions" step has been introduced. This step verifies the necessary permissions and licenses before allowing you to save any changes.

• The Entra ID backup scope configuration has been improved with a new interface that provides more granularity, allowing you to better define what you want to back up.

• Users and groups in Microsoft Entra ID can now be restored to a new tenant.

• Private Preview: AvePoint now fully supports the backup and restore of Azure SQL within the solution, expanding support for Native Azure SQL Monitoring. This feature is currently in private preview; please contact your Account Executive if you are interested in joining the preview.

• When restoring from Entra ID, users can now choose specific objects to compare before restoration. Users can opt to compare all items or select up to 100 specified objects based on an old recovery point.

• To improve the identification of backup jobs across different scopes, the backup scope name section has been added to the pages for backup job details.

• Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS now supports downloading the PDF of the subscription consumption report and backup analysis report.
