• Cloud Backup for Azure has been renamed to Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS.

• A dashboard with a new layout is now available on the Home page displaying the latest activities, status of different types of jobs for different services and objects, backup object summary, restore job summary, the storage space used by each service, and the storage profile usage rank.

• The Admin Portal Settings service is now generally available.

• Data protection for Amazon EC2 instances is now generally available. Amazon EC2 instances can be protected under the Virtual Machine service in Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS. Contact your AvePoint representative to update your subscription if you would like to use this feature. To use this functionality, you can connect Amazon tenants in Tenant management, and configure an app profile to consent an app of the Cloud Backup for AWS app type in App management.

• If your subscription supports Amazon EC2, you can now create a backup scope under the Virtual Machine service, monitor the jobs through Job Monitor, and view the reports for the protected Amazon EC2 instances and subscription consumption. If you have a trial subscription for Amazon EC2, you can configure one backup scope to protect up to 5 instances.

• You can configure a dynamic backup scope for Amazon EC2 instances to automatically include the instances that meet the rule conditions for backup.

• You can now restore the Amazon EC2 instances or devices to another location or with different settings.

• The Azure Storage service in the Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS now supports the backup and restore of data stored in Azure cold tier storage.

• Supports using custom encryption models to back up your data.
