#General Updates

• AvePoint is moving Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS to a new consumption-based licensing model for any new customers or existing customers upon recontract/renewal. This provides great flexibility to customers and gives them the ability to tailor their licensing to what they actually use.

• AvePoint Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS now offers enhanced customer support through the integration of the AVA chatbot. If you have any product-related inquiries, the chatbot is readily available to assist you.

• The notification center on the home page is available now to display subscription expiration alerts, out-of-policy alerts, and BYOS alerts.

• To align with the new prepaid consumption-based licensing model (for new customers and renewing/recontracting existing customers), new detailed reporting across licensing metrics is now available in our subscription consumption report.

• In this release, all URLs associated with the old user interface will be retired, and will no longer be accessible.

• The pages displaying objects that can be restored have been improved across all services. It is now possible to configure which columns are displayed on these pages.

• The date format for both the Cloud Backup for IaaS + PaaS environment and notification emails can now be configured in AvePoint Online Services > Administration > General settings > Culture settings.

#What’s New in Virtual Machines

• When creating a new backup scope for Amazon EC2 using the manual select method, you can now search for instances by instance ID to add them to the backup scope.

#What’s New in Azure DevOps

• After a successful private and public preview, we're excited to announce the general availability of Azure DevOps backup. For more information, please contact your AvePoint Account Manager or start a trial today.

• The Azure DevOps service now supports the restoration of specific permission groups in organization settings and project settings.
