The Salesforce archive feature is now generally available.
Private Preview: When creating a data service, field-level filters are supported for the data scope.
The following updates have been made to the left navigation pane in Cloud Backup for Salesforce®:
The Reporting section now includes API usage and Unusual activities analysis (renamed from Salesforce unusual activities analysis).
The Activity section now includes Job monitor, Monitor alerts, and Data export.
The System section now includes Settings, System auditor, Subscription (renamed from Subscription consumption), and Help & Resources (renamed from Help).
Account management has been renamed to User management.
Cloud Backup for Salesforce® now supports data cleanup for archived data. You can clear or overwrite the field values of archive records to respond to GDPR-related requests on the Data cleanup page.
You can now run simulation jobs for archive policies instead of immediately starting Archive jobs. This can help avoid unintended changes in your Salesforce environment and ensure that you are only removing the data that you want.
You can now stop and rerun the archive and simulation jobs on the Job monitor page. Note that only failed, finished with an exception, skipped, and stopped jobs can be rerun.
For the Back up now function, Cloud Backup for Salesforce® now supports running on-demand backups for specific objects after a full backup.
Cloud Backup for Salesforce® now supports Bulk API for archive, restore, and sandbox seeding. Administrators can enable the Bulk API and define its scope in Settings > Advanced > Bulk API usage. Note that the Bulk API is not supported when restoring archived data.
On the Backup page, AvePoint Cloud Backup for Salesforce® now provides a warning message for organizations with insufficient permissions for backup.
To successfully enable hard deletion for an organization, the authenticated user needs to be assigned a profile with the Bulk API Hard Delete permission in Salesforce.
The Data size column is now available on the Backup > Organization details page and the Job monitor > Job details page to calculate the actual data size per object, offering better insights into your backup storage usage.
New columns for detailed per-object API usage are now available on the Backup > Organization details page and the Job monitor > Job details page to provide better visibility into API consumption.
You can now select a date range within one year when exporting the audit records on the System auditor page.
AvePoint Cloud Backup for Salesforce® now supports exporting archived records to MySQL files on the Restore data page and the Job details page.
