What’s New in Cloud Backup for Salesforce® Interface?

A Per-GB subscription model is now available.
Public preview: Inactive data analysis is now supported in Archive to help identify data that is no longer actively used or frequently accessed. The generated report can be used to determine which records should be archived.
When configuring alert rules on the Monitor alert page, you can now edit the record scope of a selected object and apply field-level filters.
Continuous data protection is now supported, allowing more frequent backup jobs for mission-critical and rapidly-changing objects. This function will not be enabled by default.
After updating the data retention period for an organization, if the retention date has already passed, backup data will be retained for an additional 90 days. Email notifications will be sent before deletion.
When creating an archive policy, you can now skip archiving for previously restored records.
You can now generate a Detailed Report for archive jobs from the Job Monitor.
Restore Metadata jobs now support restoring DuplicateRules, PermissionSetGroups, Queues, and Tabs metadata.
