Export to PDFThe Policies > Tenant level page displays all policies created for tenants. You can switch between two viewing modes: card view displays policies in cards with key information visible at a glance; list view displays policies in a table format with details in rows.
After creating a policy, you can manage the policy. If you are in card view, click the corresponding button directly on a policy card to manage the policy; if you are in list view, you need to click the More actions button next to a policy and then click the corresponding button to manage the policy. The instructions below demonstrate policy management using operations in card view as an example.
Edit a Policy
Click the Edit policy button to edit the policy. In the Edit policy page, modify the policy settings, and click Save to save the changes, or click Save and run now to save the changes and run an Enforce policy job of the current policy immediately.
Assign a Policy
Click the Assign policy button to assign a policy to nodes. In the Assign policy window, select nodes, and then click Assign to assign the policy.
Delete a Policy
Click the Delete policy button to delete the policy and all risk details related to the policy from the Policies for Microsoft 365 system. Click Delete in the confirmation window. After deletion, all violations and job reports related to the policy will also be deleted. You can download the job reports for this policy in Job monitor before deletion or click Download report in the deletion confirmation window.
Run Enforce Policy Job
Click the Run job button to run an Enforce policy job of the current policy immediately.
Generate Policy Summary
Click the Edit policy button to open the Edit policy page, and then click Generate summary.
To immediately generate a report containing the risk details of the current policy within a specified date range, click Generate now, select a date range, and then click Generate. A Generate policy summary job will start. You can navigate to Job monitor to check the job details.
To regularly generate a report containing the risk details of the current policy within a specified date range, click Configure schedule. Turn on the toggle to enable scheduling, set up the schedule settings, enter the email addresses of the users who should receive policy summary report emails, and click Save. A Generate policy summary job will start at the configured intervals.
View Violation Details
You can find the number of violations that have been identified by the policy. By clicking the violations link, you will be redirected to the violations page.
