Export to PDFThe Containers page displays all containers that you have scanned via AvePoint Online Services > Auto discovery > Containers. Containers are categorized by Microsoft 365 object types. Each card represents a container with the container’s name displayed on it, and you can perform actions on a container.
Edit a Policy
If a policy has been assigned to a container and you want to edit the policy, you can click the Edit policy button. In the Edit policy panel, modify the settings, and click Save to save the changes.
Assign a Policy
If no policy has been assigned to a container and you want to assign a policy to the container, you can click the Assign policy button. In the Assign policy panel, all policies whose object type is the same as that of the current container are displayed. Select a policy and click Assign to assign the policy.
Change a Policy
If a policy has been assigned to a container and you want to change the policy, you can click the Assign policy button. In the Assign policy panel, all policies whose object type is the same as that of the current container are displayed, and the currently assigned policy is selected. You can select a new policy and click Assign to change the policy.
Remove a Policy
If a policy has been assigned to a container and you want to remove it from the container, you can click the Remove policy button, and then click Remove in the confirmation window.
View Violation Details
View violation details – You can find the number of violations that have been identified in the container. By clicking the violations link, you will be redirected to the violations page.
