General Updates

  • The legacy Dashboard and Customer Directory have been removed from the old UI.

  • You can now add the Fly trial subscription for customers in Elements for Partners.

  • You can now manage subscriptions of Cloud Backup for Azure for customers in Elements for Partners.

  • In Elements for Partners, you can now re-accept the subscription agreement after you renew the subscription for a service.

  • The ConnectWise function has been moved to the Integrations section, which is newly added to the left navigation.

  • The Integration (PSA Integration in earlier versions) function is no longer in the Preview mode.

  • When you click the link in notifications to open the Configure storage panel, you can now view the new UI of the panel.

  • For the IBM Spectrum Protect - S3 storage configured for customers who use the Cloud Backup services, partners can now set the extended parameter Allow_Insecure_SSL=true to skip the validation of the self-signed certificate.

What’s new in Settings?

  • The look and feel of the Settings main page has been improved.

  • In Account Management, the Change Tenant Owner feature has been improved. The existing activated Administrators can be set as the Tenant Owner, and the Tenant Owner cannot be deleted/deactivated.

  • In Account Management, the Users, Roles, and Customer Groups functions have been improved. If you want to try the features for adding users with custom conditions or assigning granular permissions to users, you can contact AvePoint Support to help enable the features for you.

What’s new in Nitro?

When you apply Microsoft settings to customers in Nitro, the Windows Information Protection (WIP) policies without enrollment in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager > App Protection Policy setting will not be applied since Microsoft has removed the support for WIP without enrollment scenario.
