Additional Notes

  • If a filter condition value contains expressions, the filter may fail in the migration, or after the migration, the filter may not work as expected in the destination.

  • When migrating the From or To filter condition, refer to the following points:

    • The ||, |, or, or OR separator used in the From and To filter condition is supported in the migration.

      • When email addresses (and me) in the From or To filter condition are separated by ||, |, or, or OR, the filter can be migrated to the destination. The email addresses are separately displayed in the destination condition, and me will be displayed as the destination email address mapped for the source mailbox user.

      • When the From or To filter condition uses a fuzzy search by entering keywords of email addresses, and there are no spaces in the keywords, the filter can be migrated to the destination. The keywords are separately displayed in the destination condition.

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the From or To filter condition value contains these symbols or keywords: “ -“, “ +“, “ !”, ” && “, “ & “, ” and “, “ AROUND “, ;, ,, from:, to:, cc:, bcc:, subject:, list:, after:, before:, older:, newer:, older_than:, newer_than:, deliveredto:, filename:, has:, label:, is:, in:, category:, Rfc822msgid:, larger:, smaller:, and size:. (Note that symbols or keywords that are quoted by double quotes ( ) have spaces before and/or after them.)

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the From or To filter condition value begins with -, +, or !.

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the From or To filter condition value contains email addresses and also uses a fuzzy search.

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the email addresses in the From or To filter condition begin with { or .

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the From or To filter condition uses the fuzzy search, and there is a keyword beginning or ending with {, [, (, <, , or .

  • When migrating the Subject, Has the Words, or Doesn’t Have filter condition, refer to the following points:

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the Subject, Has the Words, or Doesn’t have filter condition value contains these symbols or keywords: “ -“, “ +“, “ !”, ” && “, “ & “, “ AROUND “, from:, to:, cc:, bcc:, subject:, list:, after:, before:, older:, newer:, older_than:, newer_than:, deliveredto:, filename:, has:, label:, is:, in:, category:, Rfc822msgid:, larger:, smaller:, and size:. (Note that symbols or keywords that are quoted by double quotes ( ) have spaces before and/or after them.)

    • The filter cannot be migrated when the Subject, Has the Words, or Doesn’t have filter condition value begins with -, +, or !.

If the Subject, Has Words, or Doesn’t have filter condition uses ||, |, or, or OR to separate the search keywords, the filter can be migrated to the destination. The keywords are separately displayed in the destination condition. In addition, if the source separated keywords are quoted by double quotes ( ) or single quotes (‘ ‘), the quotes will not be migrated to the destination.
