Administrators can control whether to allow users to export backup data of specific service types from ReCenter by configuring the end-user restore settings in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 / AvePoint Opus.
In Data recovery, you can recover backup data of the following object types:
Exchange Online – You can search and select backup data of your mailbox, or a shared mailbox you own or are a member of, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Exchange Online.
You can now restore and export in-place archive mailbox backup data for your own mailbox. In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether mailbox principal users are allowed to preview, restore or export Exchange Online backup data in ReCenter. The administrator can also control whether to allow end‑user restoration of Shared Mailbox data in ReCenter.
OneDrive – You can search and select the backup data of your OneDrive, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Recover Backup OneDrive Data from Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow the OneDrive owner to preview, restore, or export OneDrive backup data from ReCenter.
SharePoint Online – If you are an owner of a SharePoint Online site (including Microsoft 365 Group team sites), you can search and select backup data, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Recover Backup SharePoint Data from Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow the site owners to preview, restore, or export SharePoint Online backup data from ReCenter.
Microsoft 365 Groups – If you are an owner or member of a Group, you can search and select backup data of the Group team site or Group mailbox, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Recover Backup Group Data from Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow Group owners and members to preview, restore, or export Group backup data from ReCenter.
Teams – If you are an owner or member of a Team, you can search and select backup data, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Recover Backup Teams Data from Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow Team owners and members to preview, restore, or export Team backup data from ReCenter.
Teams Chat – If you are a Teams user, you can search and select backup data, and then export them to a local path. For details, refer to Teams Chat.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow Teams users to export Teams Chat backup data from ReCenter.
Power BI – If you are one of the administrators/members/contributors of a Workspace, you can search and select backup data, and then restore the selected backup data to their original locations. For details, refer to Power BI.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow Workspace admins, members, and contributors to restore Power BI backup data from ReCenter.
Power Automate – If you are a flow creator or owner, you can search and select backup data, and then export them to a local path. For details, refer to Power Automate.
In Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365, the administrator can configure the end-user restore setting to control whether to allow the flow creator and owners to export Power Automate backup data from ReCenter.
You can recover archived Microsoft 365 data via the following methods:
In SharePoint Online sites (including Microsoft 365 Group team sites) and OneDrive, you can click the stub (.url file, .sap file, .html file, or .txt file) of an archived file to access the restore page in ReCenter. Then, restore the file to the corresponding location or export it to a local path. The stub restore page for ReCenter is also supported for mobile devices.

If you are an owner or member of a SharePoint Online site (including Microsoft 365 Group team sites), or if you are a member of specific SharePoint groups, in Data Recovery, you can search for archived data in the site, and then restore selected archived data to the corresponding location or export them to a local path. For details, refer to Search and Recover Files in Sites You Have Permission to Access.
If you are an owner or member of a Microsoft 365 Group / Microsoft 365 Team, in Data Recovery, you can search for archived data in the Microsoft 365 Groups / Teams that you have joined, and then restore selected archived data to the corresponding location or export them to a local path.

For more details on recovering your data, refer to the following sections. Note that for items stored in the Azure Archive tier, it may take longer than expected to restore or export the data.
If you want to export data from ReCenter, but your tenant has reached the maximum limit (100 GB) on the amount of content to be exported per month, ReCenter will display a message to notify you that the data cannot be exported.
