To move physical boxes/folders, complete the following steps:
Navigate to Physical records > Explorer.
Select the physical boxes/folders that you want to move to a new location.
Click Move.
In the Move window, select a destination location from the tree.
Select a conflict resolution if a box/folder with the same name already exists in the destination. Note that the relationship among related records will be removed if you choose to overwrite the destination file.

Click Save to save the configurations.
The following scenarios will occur:
If source folders are already on hold, but the destination box is not on hold, the folders will remain on hold in the destination after being moved.
If source folders are not on hold, but the destination box is already on hold, the folders will be placed on hold using the hold in the destination after being moved.
If both source folders and the destination box are already on hold, a Conflict resolution window appears. Select an option to prevent the conflict:
Use the destination hold – Use the hold defined on the box to hold the box and all of the contained folders.
Use the hold with longer duration – Compare the hold duration time and use the longest one to hold the box and all of the contained folders.
To move physical records to a new physical folder, complete the following steps:
Navigate to Physical records > Explorer.
Select the physical records that you want to move to a new folder.
Click Move.
In the Move window, select a destination folder from the tree.
Click Save to save the configurations.
If the record's template does not already exist in the destination folder, it will be added automatically.
When Enforce column inheritance is enabled in the folder template, the record’s property values are automatically updated to match those of the destination folder.
You can move up to 15 physical records to a new physical folder. Only records that are already in the same location as the destination folder can be moved.
