GG-AppPermissionError

Issue:

The object failed in the migration with the following error:

  • GG-AppPermissionError

Details:

The error occurs when the destination app profile does not have sufficient permissions.

Recommendations:

Refer to Required Permissions for Microsoft 365 Groups Migration to assign sufficient permissions to the destination app profile. Then, run an incremental or "Retry error objects" migration job later to resolve this issue.

GG-TargetUserRoleLimitedByLicenseRestriction

Issue:

The user failed in the migration with the following error:

  • GG-TargetUserRoleLimitedByLicenseRestriction

Details:

The error occurs when permissions cannot be granted to the user. Check the user's status, and then rerun the migration job.

Recommendations:

Make sure the user has an available license, the user is not suspended, and the user is not an external user, and then rerun the migration job.

You can also try to manually grant permissions to the user in the destination. If there is no error message, then rerun the migration job.

GG-UnknownError

Issue:

The object failed in the migration with the following error:

  • GG-UnknownError

Details:

An unknown error occurred while migrating the object.

Recommendations:

Contact Support and provide the migration mapping information and job ID to analyze the error.

GG-UserAlreadyExistError

Issue:

The user failed in the migration with the following error:

  • GG-UserAlreadyExistError

Details:

Multiple source users have been mapped to the same existing destination user. The destination user’s information will be updated based on the source user’s information. The error occurs when Fly updates the destination user's information frequently.

Recommendations:

Run an incremental or "Retry error objects" migration job to resolve this issue. If the error persists, contact Support and provide the migration mapping information and job ID to analyze the error.
