What’s New in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365?
- When restoring Teams and Microsoft 365 Groups data, you can choose to restore guest user memberships in Advanced settings.
- The Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365 Report Center now includes ReCenter export job information alongside restore jobs.
- The AvePoint Graph Modern API now supports retrieving backup frequency and retention policy settings for Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
- Domain mapping is now supported for OneDrive restores, enabling customers to batch restore OneDrive data to a tenant without manually selecting destination users.
- In Settings > Backup, you can now configure exclusion policies to exclude specific files or folders in OneDrive and SharePoint Online, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Groups site collections from backup based on path, size, type, and dates.
- The downloaded subscription consumption report for Multi-Geo tenants has been enhanced for improved usability.
- The Bi‑Weekly Coverage Report email now includes Region and Tenant Owner information.
- In AvePoint Cloud Backup Express, the Data subject access requests feature now includes a Disconnected status to clearly indicate objects whose deletion status can't be synchronized due to missing or inactive app connections, along with guidance messages for required actions.
What’s New in the ReCenter Portal?
- Administrators can now disable end‑user restoration of Shared Mailbox data in the ReCenter portal by configuring the End-user restore settings in Cloud Backup for Microsoft 365.
- When restoring Shared Mailbox backup data, ReCenter now allows users to manually enter a Shared Mailbox email address instead of relying solely on the auto-loaded mailbox list.
