Opus now uses Microsoft 365 retention labels with record functionality to replace the legacy In-Place Records Management feature. You can define a retention label with Mark items as a record enabled to lock files for compliance and retention purposes.
Full-text search is now generally available with flexible, usage-based licensing. This enhancement lets you locate archived documents or document versions by searching both their names and content, and then restore the selected items as needed.
The Move data to another storage location setting is now hidden in retention settings when you configure global storage settings. Contact AvePoint Support to have it enabled in the backend if you want to use this feature.
The Create stub template option is now available when users create a rule and choose to leave a stub in place.
When creating a stub template, you now have the option to define a specific retention period for stubs. By setting up an automated schedule, stubs will be automatically deleted once their retention period has expired.
The following rule criteria are now available for SharePoint Online, enabling you to target documents based on properties of their parent site:
Parent site property (Yes/No)
Parent site property (Date and Time)
Parent site property (Number)
Parent site property (Text)
The Rerun failed objects button is now available at the Teams & Groups level, allowing you to retry restoring any objects that were not successfully restored during the initial process.
You can now restore SharePoint Online/OneDrive folders, documents, and versions to a SharePoint Online library or folder.
Opus now supports restoring SharePoint Online/OneDrive site collections or sites to a designated storage location.
When restoring Teams & Groups, you can now designate a specific user as the owner of the restored Team or Group.
