The following features are in preview in the Insights for Microsoft 365 insider environment, and will be available in the commercial and U.S. Government environments on the general availability dates.

General Updates

  • AvePoint Insights interface now supports German when German is set as your browser's default language or first preferred language.
  • The N/A sensitivity level has been enhanced to Not sensitive and No sensitivity definition applied to be clearer. The N/A risk level has been enhanced to No risk and No sensitivity definition applied to be clearer.

What’s New in Insights for Microsoft 365?

  • Public Preview: Activity-based risk detection is now supported to identify risky app behaviors. This feature accelerates threat identification by monitoring anomalous activities from multiple perspectives. You can now set up your detection settings in the risk definition profile of the Risky user / Risky app type. On the Risky applications page, you can view and manage the detected risky applications.
  • The Risky users report has been enhanced. For the risky users detected by Insights, you can now view trends in new detections over the last 7 days, as well as the three most recent detection records per type on the Risk detections page.
  • The Data type management page is now available. It lets you review the detection confidence statistics for Microsoft 365 sensitive info types, trainable classifiers, custom information types, and scan engine conditions in your Insights environment. You can also refine their configurations to improve sensitive data detection accuracy.
  • Risk remediation notification templates are now available. You can use the default template or create custom templates to notify content owners and/or site collection administrators to manually remediate potential risks.
  • You can now export site administrator details when exporting reports for Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Groups, and export site owner details when exporting reports for SharePoint Online sites.
  • You can now create a policy within Insights from the Intelligent remediation page and additional rules are now available for selection.

What’s New in Insights for Google?

  • Filters are now available on the View permissions page. You can filter users and groups by role, type, and expiration time.
